Nicol Boilers is a family-owned and operated business, established in 1985, specialising in industrial and commercial steam and hot water boiler engineering, associated water treatment and legionella services. We have a highly qualified and motivated workforce, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with all relevant materials and equipment to carry out boiler and burner breakdowns and repairs.

Our Services

• Hire: We have a large selection of steam and hot water boilers for hire, ranging from 37kg to 5,500kg of steam per hour. Our hire fleet has been designed and manufactured in-house, and we can provide a quick response installation team to install the boiler to your insurance company's satisfaction.

• Repairs: We maintain our own coded welders to BS EN ISO 9606-1: 2017 standard, along with all the necessary equipment, to allow for D-patch repairs and re-tubing. Our extensive knowledge of UK boilers involves the understanding of refractory materials and designs employed by different boiler companies.

• Servicing: Our team of experienced engineers are on hand to provide regular maintenance and servicing of your boiler. This ensures that your boiler is running efficiently and safely, and helps to prevent any potential breakdowns.

• Sales: We offer a range of steam and hot water boilers for sale, as well as associated equipment and accessories. Our sales team can help you choose the right boiler for your needs, and we provide ongoing support and maintenance after the sale.

• Burners: We can supply and install a range of burners, including oil, gas, and dual-fuel options. Our team can also provide ongoing maintenance and repair services for your burners.

Our History

Nicol Boilers Ltd was founded in 1985 by husband and wife team, Ian and Nancy Nicol. In 2005 they were joined by daughter Laura, having completed an accountancy degree and training. Over the years the company has continued to grow, moving into a purpose-built workshop in 2004. The facility boasts a 4.5 acres site, with the factory housing two floors of office and meeting rooms, along with a 25-ton beam mounted overhead crane in the workshop area.
