At Longridge Timber, we have a deep-rooted passion for all things wood. We are an independent, family-owned Timber Merchants that have been serving the North West of England for over 10 years. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality timber and associated products, as well as offering first-class customer service to the building and joinery trades, property developers, and ambitious DIY enthusiasts.

Our History

Longridge Timber first opened its doors in 2006, starting from humble beginnings but with a lot of enthusiasm. Over the years, we have continued to grow and flourish, thanks to the support of our valued customers, employees, suppliers, and local community. We have expanded our operations, opening a second depot in the heart of Preston and a third one in Clitheroe, at Twin Brooks Business Park. This is part of our ongoing plans to improve and develop what we do for our customers.

Our Products and Services

We have continued to invest in sourcing high-quality products, including treated softwood and hardwood timber, sheeting and carcassing materials, decking, flooring, mouldings, doors, and stair parts. We are stockists of C24 Grade Structural Timber, sourced from sustainable forest schemes and supplied by those that are FSC or PEFC accredited. This imported timber is of higher quality, straighter, and less likely to twist, making it perfect for jobs with wider spans or greater loads.

Our Commitment to Quality and Sustainability

We remain committed to sourcing products that are both high in quality and sustainable. Our C24 structural grade timber is sourced from overseas, where it is higher quality and more reliable than domestic timber. However, we also remain passionate about our planet and environmental sustainability. Therefore, we only source timber from sustainable forest schemes and suppliers that are FSC or PEFC accredited.
