As a cabinetmaker, I have had the pleasure of creating unique, bespoke wooden furniture for clients across Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties. With a rich history of crafting beautiful, hand-made pieces, I take pride in offering a range of traditional and contemporary designs that are tailored to individual clients' specifications.

From my Cambridgeshire workshop, I use high-quality materials, including oak, maple, and walnut, to create stunning pieces of furniture that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Whether it's a classic design or something more contemporary, every piece is carefully crafted to meet the unique needs of each client.

My journey as a cabinetmaker began in 2004, and since then, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including Christ's College and Trinity College in Cambridge, as well as numerous churches and private clients. Every piece of furniture is designed and made with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that each item is both beautiful and functional.

The Design Process

When working on a new project, I first meet with the client to discuss their requirements and ideas. This is an essential step in ensuring that the final product meets their needs and exceeds their expectations. Through a collaborative process, we work together to develop a design that is both functional and visually appealing.

Once the design is finalized, I will create a computer model of the piece, which the client can review and approve. This ensures that we are on the same page and that the final product meets everyone's expectations.

Pricing and Payment Terms

Pricing varies greatly depending on the complexity of the design, the type of materials used, and the level of craftsmanship required. Because every piece is uniquely designed and hand-made, pricing is not like IKEA's off-the-shelf products. Instead, we work closely together to develop a design that meets your needs, and the price reflects the level of expertise, materials, and time required.

A deposit is required to secure the quoted price, which is non-refundable after two months. The balance is due upon delivery of the finished piece. In the rare instance where there are any issues with the final product, we will work together to resolve the issue promptly and efficiently.

Notes and Legals

Please note that natural timber is subject to variations in grain and color. While we strive for a precise match, these variations are not considered defects. Similarly, where staining is part of the process, the same considerations apply.

It is also important to note that quoted prices do not include handles or internal parts of cupboards and drawers. All property rights remain with the designer until full payment has been made and cleared by our bank.
