At Silk Sharples Jennings Chartered Surveyors, we are a professional and independent firm of RICS regulated building surveyors and valuation surveyors based in Shrewsbury. With over 20 years of experience, we have surveyed, valued, and helped to develop countless residential and commercial properties across Shropshire, Cheshire, Staffordshire, and the West Midlands, as well as throughout Wales.
Our Story
Our journey began when two experienced Chartered Surveyors, David Silk and Colin Sharples, joined forces to establish Silk Sharples Jennings in 2019. By combining their expertise, we have been able to offer a wide range of services to our clients, including residential and commercial surveys, valuations, and architectural design services. In 2022, we welcomed Antony Davies to our team, further strengthening our expertise.
What We Do
As RICS Chartered Building Surveyors and Valuers, we offer the full scope of survey and property valuation work. In addition to general practice work, Schedules of Condition, and Dilapidations, we also provide Party Wall matters, RICS Surveys, Building Reinstatement Cost assessments for insurance purposes, and specialized valuations or probate matters. Our team of qualified Property Surveyors provides extensive building design services for residential building extensions or new builds, as well as for commercial property developments, refurbishment programmes, and conversions. We also advise on Planning and Building Regulations requirements and offer a full Construction Project Management Service.
