AK Architects, a family-run business based in Oxford, has been providing professional design services for the past 17 years. Established in 2004, we pride ourselves on offering friendly advice in a non-corporate environment. Our team is experienced in the entire building process, from initial conceptual ideas to detail design, construction, and project completion. We specialise in both traditional and contemporary design, tailoring our approach to meet the unique needs and preferences of our clients.

Services Offered

As an RIBA Chartered Practice, we adhere to the recommended stages of work and provide a written fixed fee quotation and full breakdown of our services. Our services are offered on a fixed price basis for the 3 main stages:

• Stage 1-3: Planning Application
• Stage 4: Building Regulations
• Stage 5: Construction Phase

Clients can choose to engage us for a single stage of work, or for the entire process.

Our Ethos

At AK Architects, we believe in providing personalised service to each client. We offer an initial free consultation to meet you, visit the site, and discuss your proposal. Our goal is to help you develop your brief and put forward some alternative design solutions that you may not have considered. Our experience in Oxford and the surrounding area means we have a good understanding of what the planning office considers acceptable and what they like. We will advise you accordingly on whether a contemporary or traditional response is best suited to meet your requirements.
