Our Story

Our journey began when Alan Bradshaw started his own business as AE Bradshaw Plumbing and General Building in Watford. Over the years, he built a strong customer base and took on various plumbing jobs, from replacing bathrooms to installing full central heating systems. In 1985, John Dashwood joined his uncle as an apprentice and eventually became a qualified general plumber and Gas Safe registered heating engineer.

After the passing of Alan Bradshaw, John Dashwood took over and started his own business, Dashwood & Bradshaw Plumbing and Heating, in 1995. As a sole trader, John works independently and relies heavily on word-of-mouth referrals. This ensures that each customer receives the same dedicated service from start to finish.

• 2nd hour: 85.00
• Emergency work out of hours, including weekends: 205.00
• Powerflush: 650.00 (includes up to 5 radiators)
• Extra radiators: 49.00 each
• Boiler service: 120.00
• Back boiler and front fire service: 210.00
• Gas fire service: 99.00

We also offer free quotes for site visits to replace boilers, radiators, hot water cylinders, water tanks, and taps.
