Jan Adams Garden Design was established in 1992 to create beautiful, practical gardens that reflect the desires and lifestyles of each individual client. Over the years, we have successfully completed over 500 projects, ranging from intimate courtyard spaces to expansive country gardens. Our work encompasses a variety of styles, scales, and contexts, both private and commercial, encompassing urban and rural settings.

My Design Philosophy

My passion for garden design stems from a deep appreciation for nature and a desire to create harmonious and inviting spaces. My horticultural background, gained through years of involvement with Hopleys Plants, a renowned nursery, has provided me with invaluable insight into the characteristics of various plant species. This knowledge is essential in crafting designs that consider factors such as soil type, sunlight exposure, colour palettes, architectural forms, and mature sizes.

A Commitment to Sustainability

As an environmentally conscious designer, I integrate sustainable practices into every project. I prioritize native plants, water-wise techniques, and environmentally friendly materials whenever possible. I aim to create gardens that are both beautiful and in harmony with nature.
