Combining Nature and Nurture Since 1957

At Abergavenny Garden Centre, we have been combining nature and nurture since 1957. With over 60 years of knowledge and experience in growing our plant nursery, we provide a full range of ornamental and vegetable plants. Our perennials are now grown in Peat-free compost (Sylvagro) and start from a 9cm pot all the way up to 10 litres. When you visit, you will see all of these products on our sales benches and will be grown in recyclable pots where possible.

We also pot around 1000 roses a year, which are now also grown in Peat-free compost. Going forward, we hope to increase our growing and rely less on our suppliers. On site, we boast a huge range of pots with our ceramic selection the biggest it has ever been. Our terracotta range has also increased, and where possible, we now stock locally made pots (Smith & Jennings).

We stock a wide range of wooden furniture in our extended shop area, which has hugely increased over the years. From benches to swing seats to log stores, we try and stock it all. We offer a delivery service for the items you struggle to take home with you and can actually assemble on site if required.
