At Ken Bloomfield Removals, we are a local, dedicated, family-run business based on the Isle of Wight. Our Services

We offer a complete domestic and commercial service, which means we can help you with your home or office move. Recently, we have been entrusted to relocate local schools, packing and moving their offices, furniture, and equipment during the recent restructuring of local schools.

If you find it necessary to leave your current address but cannot immediately move into your new home, we are able to store your belongings in our secure containerised storage warehouse. Our warehouse is professionally managed, giving you complete peace of mind, knowing that your belongings are being kept safe until your new home becomes ready for you to move into.

Moving Advice

Before your move, there are a few things to consider:

• Packing and Unpacking: If you are doing your own packing, be sure to use strong cartons that are not overfilled. If you need cartons or other packing materials, please contact us as we hold these in stock at very favourable prices. Dismantle any furniture and take down all curtains, fixtures, and fittings prior to the arrival of your moving team.

• Cookers, Washing Machines, Fridges, Freezers: These should be disconnected, cleaned, drained, and dried prior to the arrival of your moving team.

Storage

We offer a secure containerised storage depository for those who are unable to move to their new home immediately. With containerised storage, your goods are only handled once, which means less handling and less risk of damage. This unitised storage system is clean, dust-free, very efficient, and cost-effective - you only pay for how many containers you use. Each container has a volume of approximately 250 cubic feet or 7 cubic metres and is able to accommodate most household items.
