Welcome to Design Haus, a family-based architectural practice headed by renowned housing design expert, Vicky Saunders. Based in the North West, we specialise in delivering high-end residential projects for private homeowners and property developers across Cheshire and the surrounding areas. Our mission is straightforward - to create a home that embodies your style and personality. Each of our designs is bespoke, ranging from ultra-modern new build houses and extensions to remodelling and the conversion of listed buildings.

At Design Haus, we are a RIBA Chartered practice with accredited conservation architects, enabling us to manage the full spectrum of new build, refurbishment, and heritage projects. With years of experience working with luxury homeowners, we are adept in all the latest smart home technologies and eco-friendly and sustainable design.

Our Services

Design Haus will work very closely with you throughout the design process, ensuring that your aspirations for your new home are fulfilled. We strive to make the design process enjoyable and exciting, whilst taking care of all stages of the project on your behalf. We offer a comprehensive architectural design service, ranging from submitting drawings for planning applications to managing the full design package, including interior and landscape design.

1. Consultation - We start with an initial meeting over a cup of tea or coffee to discuss your aspirations for your project and advise you as to what can be achieved within your budget.

2. Design - Once instructed, we will work with you to develop your design using our 3D modelling software. If you require interior or landscaping design, we will bring our designers in early on so that all elements of your project work seamlessly.

3. Planning - With our 30 years of experience dealing with local authorities and conservation officers, we will navigate you through the planning process to ensure your preferred design is approved.

4. Detailed Design - Once planning has been granted, we will prepare detailed technical drawings for building regulations and the builder.

5. Construction - We will work with your appointed contractor or find the best builder for your project based on our years of housing experience. We continually oversee the works and ensure all issues are swiftly resolved.

6. Handover - To ensure moving into your dream-home is as simple as possible, we provide a home-user guide and ongoing support.
