With over 25 years of experience, helping main contractors achieve a first-class standard of finish, SPP Fine Finishes is a painting contracting business incorporated since 1989. Our staff bring years of experience decorating residential and commercial buildings. Our Services

At SPP Fine Finishes, we provide a comprehensive range of residential and commercial painting and decorating services. Our comprehensive services include estimating, commercial contracts, and health and safety.

Our estimating team is always happy to estimate all projects at either tender or secured stages. Our commercial contracts have included painting and decorating a wide variety of projects, from the QE2 Cruise Terminal in Southampton to prestigious Apartment's, Holiday Inn's, Premier Inn's, and the largest Next store in Europe.

Health and Safety

At SPP Fine Finishes, we have a strong commitment to health and safety training, ensuring that our operatives have the required competencies to deliver services to customers safely and professionally. We can reassure customers of the skills and capabilities of each individual employed by SPP.

Our systems ensure high levels of occupational health and safety, and are maintained at all times. We control the health and safety risks arising from our work activities by closely supervising site progress, consulting with our employees on matters affecting health and safety, ensuring all employees are competent to do what is asked of them and to give them adequate training, and continually reviewing our systems of work and complying with the current applicable legislation.

Our Team

At SPP Fine Finishes, we take great pride in the dedication and professionalism of our staff. Our directors, Paul Dowdeswell and Phil Watkins, have over 60 years of combined experience in the industry, and are responsible for ensuring the high standards of quality and service that we strive for.

Liam Bowditch, our surveyor/estimator, has been with us since 2013 and is responsible for all estimating enquiries within our company. Our team of painters and decorators are all 100% CSCS accredited, and our managers hold Gold CSCS, SMSTS & IPAF qualifications.
