Our Philosophy

At Eximious Furniture, we believe in creating tailored solutions to meet your unique requirements. Our experienced and skilled team works with a diverse range of materials, including hardwoods, veneers, laminates, glass, steel, acrylic, stone, marble, granite, and leather, among others, to give your project a distinctive and original appearance. We design and manufacture all our furniture in our Leicestershire factory, where we welcome prospective clients to visit and witness the meticulous process of crafting each piece of furniture. Our in-house veneering ensures precise selection and matching of veneers throughout every project. Our expertise enables us to suggest the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for your workspace, offering detailed drawings, renderings, and samples to help you achieve your desired look.

Our Process

Our approach is centred around collaboration and communication. We are more than happy to arrange a meeting to discuss your project and design intentions. Once design concepts and a general specification have been established, our estimating team produces detailed quotes while maintaining a dialogue with you to ensure all factors are accounted for and potential cost savings are identified. Once the quote is approved, and the order is placed, we transform the initial design concepts into detailed working drawings for your approval. Samples of finishes can be provided at this stage to ensure the final choices meet your expectations. A site survey or visit takes place to clarify the final details and confirm measurements align with the drawings.

Production

At Eximious Furniture, we take great pride in our craftsmanship. All our makers are proficient and time-served craftspeople. They work either individually or as part of a small team, depending on the project's type and size. Each maker takes great care in crafting the pieces by hand in our Leicestershire factory. Our veneers are carefully selected, matched, hand-stitched, and laid to ensure uniformity in appearance throughout the project. Our furniture pieces undergo a thorough finishing process in our spray shop, where we apply acid catalysed, polyurethane, and polyester clear lacquers, as well as a wide range of paint finishes, including hand-polishing for perfect 100% gloss finishes. We have also developed techniques for applying sprayed metal finishes, such as Dubai gold, silver, pewter, copper, aluminium, and rusted steel, to a high standard.

Installation

Our installation team comprises fully trained, qualified, and experienced fitters who are adept at overcoming unexpected challenges on site with a positive and constructive approach. We strive to arrive on site between 7.00 and 7.30 am and work a full day to ensure your projects are completed on time. Our fitters, makers, and labourers carry CSCS cards and are proficient in all current Health and Safety Legislations and Safe Working Practices. We take great care in leaving the site in a better condition than when we arrived.

After Sales

Upon completion of a job, we provide operation and maintenance manuals, as well as "as built" drawings, to ensure your customer has a complete set of instructions for the care and maintenance of the product. Following these guidelines will guarantee the longest possible lifespan of the product.
