Knight Building Contractors, a Limited company since 1996, is a family-run business specialising in construction work in Wiltshire, Berkshire, and Hampshire. Headed by the owner and manager, Matthew Peck, the company boasts a dedicated and long-standing workforce, many of whom have been with the company since its inception. Our location in Great Bedwyn enables us to cover a wide area, catering to the towns of Marlborough, Newbury, Devizes, and Andover, among others.

Our expertise lies primarily in the domestic sector, including house extensions, new homes, and refurbishment contracts. However, we have also undertaken projects for nursing homes, doctor surgeries, and schools. Our niche market is contracts ranging from 50,000 to 500,000, although we are open to considering projects outside this range.

A significant portion of our work involves renovating old period properties and listed buildings. Our team has extensive experience working with oak frame buildings, and we are well-versed in the latest renewable energy technologies, such as Ground Source, Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar Panels, PV Panels, and Rainwater Harvesting Tanks. We are currently constructing a new home that, although not a Passive House, is very close in terms of performance, incorporating high levels of insulation, draught proofing, triple glazing, and MVHR.
