Established in 2002, Turner & Hoskins is a Kent-based architectural practice with a passion to realise your project. There isn't a 'Turner & Hoskins' style, rather a team of experts who seek to understand your dreams and make them a reality. Approachable and good-humoured, our team offers over 40 years of architectural expertise while maintaining the highest technical standards and incredible attention to detail.

From drawing plans, putting together a planning application through to total project management and delivering the end product, we help our clients realise what they want from a building. We believe in listening well and working hard. Through innovation and creative suggestions, we aim to make buildings work for you. Drawing out hidden depths, seeing the untapped potential of a building together with understanding your lifestyle and needs, we aim to bring lasting and effective solutions. We believe that good design is paramount to the procurement of a good building.

From our Edenbridge base, we work throughout southeast England, regularly completing projects in London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex, Middlesex, and Hampshire. Our sphere of work will stretch further if needed and the project warrants it.

Meet the Team

We are an enthusiastic, hard-working, fun, eclectic group of people who believe in excellence and understand our role as a service provider. Each member of the team brings significant input, support, and suggestions. We have fantastic conversations about many things - not just architecture! We like to laugh and enjoy what we do.

Vicki Turner, Director, is the 'Turner' Director and ensures the smooth running of the practice on a day-to-day basis. She designs, draws up schemes for planning, building regulations, and construction, runs projects on site, liaises with clients and other key professionals, and is overall Office Manager and Administrative Director. Vicki loves to work with people in their homes, teasing out the spaces they are looking for and critically asking the right questions that are keys to unlocking a successful project. Passionate about making a difference to someone's life, Vicki's work is highly personal and her aim is always to strive for excellence. Plus she loves a good book!

Tim Hoskins, Director, is the 'Hoskins' Director, who ensures the work produced is of the highest standards and wherever possible exceeds the client brief and expectations. He takes projects from inception through to ultimate realisation, providing clients with a uniquely crafted solution that fulfils individual requirements and realises their dreams. Having trained first as an architectural technician, Tim has an excellent and in-depth knowledge of construction and building detailing. He can help ensure that a design can be realised as he really does know how to build stuff! Hooked from childhood by seeing construction drawings on a drawing board, Tim is passionate about materials, their colour, texture, appearance, use, and how this can both change and be used within a building to best effect.
