Autor Architecture is an international practice with offices in London and Berlin. Our name, Autor, is German for author, and our buildings convey the story of the area that surrounds them. We like to dream big and build pragmatically, carefully considering the needs of both the client and the neighbourhoods we work in.

We have developed a systematic approach to deal with the multitude of constraints and opportunities that are all part of the built environment. Our methods align with the well-established PESTLE analysis tool, taking into account the Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal, and Environmental factors. We believe in clearly communicating the process to clients, planners, and the local community, which is part of the reason that we have enjoyed such success with project permissions.

Our Awards

We have achieved a track record of 95% planning success thanks to an in-depth awareness of history and visual context. Our buildings are 14% above the average site density because they are efficiently organised and integrated into their settings.
