Our Story

Girl About The House was established in 2009 in Stockport, and since then, we have built a reputation for delivering exceptional quality and customer service. Our journey began with Jan, an experienced interior designer, painter, decorator, and seamstress, who has been working in the field of budget interior design and decorating since 2000. John, a multi-skilled builder, joined forces with Jan to create a dynamic team that can tackle most home renovation projects without the need for additional tradesmen. However, we have an extensive network of skilled craftsmen who can be called upon if needed. In recent years, we have expanded our services to Shropshire, and we are now proud to offer our expertise to homeowners in this beautiful region.
