Our Expertise

Our team, led by Adrian Porter, a fully qualified plumbing and heating engineer, has extensive experience in the field. Adrian completed a 3-year apprenticeship in Germany as a 'Gas- und Wasser-Installateur' between 1994 and 1997. Since returning to the UK in 2000, Adrian has been trading in the South Lakeland area of Cumbria and has built a reputation for high-quality workmanship and excellent service.

Adrian is OFTEC registered for the installation and servicing of oil-fired boilers and for the installation and servicing of unvented (mains pressure) domestic hot water storage systems. His practical involvement with solar thermal systems dates back to the beginning of his apprenticeship in 1994, and over the years, he has worked on systems with a combined collector area of over 300m2. In 2007, Adrian further refreshed this experience with a week-long course at the Centre for Alternative Technology at Machynlleth.
