Our History: A Heritage of Expertise

Our lineage can be traced back to E D Jefferiss Mathews OBE, a prominent architect and Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA). His practice, J Douglass Mathews & Partners, later became Mathews Ryan Simpson, with notable architects Edward James Hill and Ronald Leslie Marshall joining the team. Over the years, the practice evolved and matured, eventually becoming HMH Architects Ltd in 1985.
