At London and Kent Electrical, we are a family-run, electrical contractor that was established in 2014 by Alfie and Tony Phillips, who have a combined experience of over 35 years in the sector. Together with an experienced team of highly qualified and professional electricians, they have built L & K into a thriving business which is successfully delivering a wide range of lighting projects and solutions.

We have established a reputation for providing a friendly, value for money service with a particular attention to detail and high standards. Our clients include the City of London Corporation, local education authorities and the schools for which they are responsible, leading landscape design consultants and private domestic users.

• The Forge, 105 Sumner Street: We secured the exterior lighting package at The Forge, 105 Sumner Street, working on behalf of Rochford Construction.

• St Helen's Square: We completed the exterior lighting for St Helen's Square, which included LED strip lighting around handrails and benches, planter lighting, and feature lighting.

• City Tunnels: We delivered the electrical solutions for the City Tunnels, ensuring that the tunnels are safely and efficiently lit.

• Blackfriars Plant Room: We worked on the electrical installation for the Blackfriars Plant Room, focusing on safety and energy efficiency.

• The Green Quarter: We provided the electrical solutions for The Green Quarter, a residential development that required efficient and sustainable lighting solutions.

• St Magnus House: We completed the electrical installation for St Magnus House, a public building that needed a comprehensive lighting system.

News and Views

We regularly update our clients and partners with the latest news and views from our electrical installations within the London and Kent area. Our recent projects and achievements include:

• The Forge, 105 Sumner Street: L&K has secured the exterior lighting package at The Forge, 105 Sumner Street. This small project, working on behalf of Rochford Construction, will include LED Strip lighting around handrails and benches, planter lighting, and feature lighting.

• Commercial Residential Installations for Landlords: We have been busy upgrading electrical intake cupboards for a domestic landlord in Clapham. So far, we have carried out four installations and will be starting a fifth in December.

• MET Police - Operation Facelift: Our ongoing project for the MET Police - Operation Facelift, continues to be a success. Working alongside @FiveInteriors on behalf of @Vinci, we are currently improving the quality of the MET Police facilities.

• St Paul's Cathedral Courtyard: The main entrance of St Paul's Cathedral once again beautifully lit. Client: City of London. Location: EC1. Public Project. Similar to what we undertook in the Cathedral's South Churchyard, we installed new LED up-lighting to the main entrance steps, providing a warm and inviting ambiance.
