At Fendow, we're more than just a curtain pole company; we're passionate about helping people create beautiful and functional living spaces. Our story begins in the 1970s with our grandfather, Irwin Dynes, who, alongside his business partner, ventured to Italy in search of exquisite curtain poles to add to their window furnishing collection. This marked the beginning of a journey that saw Irwin become one of the pioneers in importing and supplying wooden curtain poles to prominent department stores and independent retailers across the country.

Over the decades, Irwin's business blossomed, expanding its offerings to encompass both wooden and metal curtain poles sourced from around the globe. He established a manufacturing facility in Corby, Northamptonshire, where skilled artisans crafted plastic tracks and components, solidifying his position as a leading figure in the industry. Irwin's two daughters and their families joined the company, contributing their talents and dedication to its growth and success.

A Family Legacy

Armed with generations of experience and a shared passion for exceptional window solutions, my mother Lesley, my brother Matthew, and I founded Fendow Ltd in 2013. Guided by the legacy instilled by our grandfather and the values of quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction, we launched our website, offering a curated selection of products that reflected his original vision.
