Meet Our Team

Steven Roche - Managing Director

Steven has 20 years of experience in construction, holding an advanced craft in Bricklaying. He went back to university to gain a Certificate of Education and has taught and assessed a multitude of construction occupations including Trowel Occupations, plastering, Occupational Work Supervision, Painting & Decorating, Construction Operations, and was responsible for the development of the L3 Insulation and Building Treatments suite of qualifications. Now works as an Independent End Point Assessor for City and Guilds assessing apprentices all over the country for the Property Maintenance Operative qualification.

Steve Leigh - Managing Director

Steve has 45 years of experience in construction, with experience in residential, commercial, and industrial work, including new build and refurbishment. He worked with his father's property maintenance company for 5 years and gained experience and knowledge in brickwork, stonework, plastering, groundwork, ceramic tiling, roofing, but mostly as a joiner. He ran his own small construction business for 25 years. Worked as a site manager for 5 years, and as an NVQ assessor for the past 10 years. He has assessed a range of trades, including those shown above, but now works with NHBC assessing management qualifications from 4-7. He holds a Gold Site Supervision CSCS card and has a L3 H&S qualification, as well as PTLLS and CTLLS. He gained his Construction Management Honours Degree as a mature student and has had 3 years experience of teaching as a part-time lecturer in the groundworks apprenticeships with Heyrod Construction in Oldham.
