At Partners in Design, we are at the forefront of interior design in Dorset and the South West. We design and deliver inspired, beautiful, and practical interiors for our clients. Our aim is to help you define your interior style and have the confidence to create a home you will love for years to come. We listen carefully to how you live to ensure your home works for you and your family's lifestyle. Based in Dorset, we cover all of the South West. During our free home consultation, we will discuss initial ideas and take time to get to know you and your interior design requirements, both practical and aesthetic. We produce floor plans and visuals to show you the best possible uses of space and proposed design schemes.

We cover every element of interior design from window treatments to refurbishment and extension design, build, and project management. Our services include 2D and 3D CAD designs and mood boards to ensure that every detail is considered. Over the past 17 years, we have worked on a huge variety of properties throughout Dorset, blending form and function to create spaces which bring warmth and enjoyment to the daily lives of our clients.

Meet The Team

Barbara Proctor, our Creative Director, founded Partners in Design 18 years ago after returning from living in South-East Asia for 14 years. She works alongside her team to achieve successful projects from concept to completion. Barbara enjoys theatre, live music, and entertaining friends and family.

Suzy Newton, our Senior FF&E Designer, has over 20 years' experience in window dressing and leads our FF&E Department. She possesses a wealth of knowledge in fabrics, wallpaper, and furniture. Suzy is in her element when working with fabrics and colours and thrives on encouraging clients to make bold and beautiful decisions. She enjoys renovating her characterful, period home and spending time with her family and friends.

Laura Delage-Pandeli, one of our FF&E Designers, loves bringing the outdoors in and incorporating Biophilic elements into her designs alongside organic textures. She finds inspiration in the unique colours of nature. When not in the office, Laura can be found cold water swimming or travelling to tick off the many locations on her bucket list.

Sarah Barnes, our Senior Interior Designer, has over 9 years' experience and specialises in interior architectural design and space planning. She also enjoys designing bespoke furniture and creating colour and soft furnishing schemes for clients. Sarah understands the importance of working hand-in-hand with clients to deliver beautifully designed spaces.
