RA Berry & Son Ltd is a family-run business, established in 1935, and has been an integral part of the Holme Valley and its surrounding areas' development. For over 80 years, we have been shaping the landscape of West Yorkshire, with a strong commitment to the community and a dedication to providing top-notch construction services.

Our company has been passed down through four generations of builders, and we continue to operate from our original premises on Dunford Road, Holmfirth. With a team of skilled builders, joiners, project managers, and site supervisors, we have a fleet of 10 vehicles and undertake all types of construction work, from small domestic projects to large commercial projects.

Our History

Robert Arthur Berry founded RA Berry & Son Ltd in 1931, and the business has been a part of the Holme Valley community ever since. Our history is deeply rooted in the community, and we are proud of the contributions we have made to the architecture and buildings of this beautiful part of West Yorkshire.

We have remained at the heart of the community in Holmfirth and have helped to shape the buildings and architecture of the area. As we approach our 90th year, we have taken a look back at some of the bumps in the road as well as our most notable achievements.
