Our History

Forterra is a leading UK manufacturer of essential clay and concrete building products, with a rich history that dates back many decades. We have been instrumental in building over a quarter of England's housing stock, and our products have been used in the construction of many of the UK's most notable structures. From football stadia and hospitals to train stations and road infrastructure, our bricks, blocks, and precast concrete have been at the heart of British building projects for generations.

Our Brands

We operate across nine brands, producing over 600 building products from our 17 manufacturing sites. Our range includes bricks, blocks, precast concrete, paving, and many other vital products that keep Britain building. Whether for traditional or modern methods of construction, our products are designed to meet the needs of the UK construction industry.
