About Us
Country Gardens and Landscapes was established in 2006 by company director Alex Colman. Alex has extensive experience in landscaping and gardening, having undertaken an apprenticeship in Amenity Horticulture at Writtle College and gaining NVQ levels 2 and 3. He has also worked for a decade at a private country estate in Essex, serving as Head Gardener for three years. During this time, Alex gained comprehensive and detailed experience in all aspects of gardening and landscaping, including forestry, estate maintenance, and the creation of new landscaped areas.
In recent years, Country Gardens and Landscapes have been featured in two editions of Gardeners World Magazine. We performed garden makeovers for two competition winners, working from scale plans designed by TV presenter and garden designer Joe Swift. This experience has given us the ability and know-how to design, build, and maintain all your landscaping and gardening needs.
