Our skilled craftsmen, led by founder John Williamson, have years of experience in designing and building bespoke furniture for discerning clients.

Our Story

John Williamson, our founder, studied at Rycotewood, the country's leading furniture college in Oxfordshire. He was awarded the prestigious Michealis Cup for 'excellence in modern craftsmanship.' John's work has been widely published in major publications, including Vogue, Elle Decoration, Wallpaper, Grand Designs Magazine, and the Evening Standard. His pieces have also featured in prominent exhibitions, such as the RHS Chelsea Garden Flower Show, BBC Radio 2, Channel 4 Grand Designs, and BBC Crazy Rich Agents: Selling Dream Homes.

Before founding Grain Bespoke Furniture, John worked with prominent clients in the high-end furniture manufacturing industry, including Paul Smith, Converse, Barber Osgerby, Victorinx, Canteen Restaurants, Isokon Plus, Mother London, LBI, Rapier, Raw TV, Channel 4, and the Saturday Fashion Group.

Our Services

Our process begins with an informal consultation to discuss your ideas, followed by the creation of a detailed 3D drawing, including dimensions, materials, and finishes.
