At PINCH, we are a studio of furniture and lighting designers who are passionate about creating beautiful, high-quality pieces that inspire and enrich our clients' spaces. Our story began in 2004, when founders Russell Pinch and Oona Bannon established the company with the vision of producing furniture and lighting that they would personally want to live with. We set out to create pieces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also enduring, crafted with attention to detail, and manufactured with a commitment to excellence.

Our Philosophy

For us, the art of creating beautiful objects is all about celebrating form and material. We believe in poetic design, where simplicity and elegance come together to create pieces that inspire artistry in our workshops. Our designs are characterized by a quiet and refined aesthetic, achieved through tireless refinement and dedication to craft and process. We are committed to producing pieces that are not only beautiful but also functional, with an emphasis on functionality that is both subtle and effective.

Our Services

We offer a range of services, from bespoke furniture and lighting design to commission work and collaborations. Our clients can choose from a variety of products, including cabinets, upholstery, chairs and stools, tables and desks, beds, and lighting accessories, as well as special edition pieces. We also offer the option to order custom versions and bespoke commissions, allowing our clients to add a personal touch to their spaces. In addition, we maintain a stock of large and small pieces, offering the opportunity to finish many of them in bespoke colours.

Our Design Process

Our design process is all about beauty found in simplicity and the indulgence of well-crafted detail. We refine our designs until we feel we have arrived at our idea of perfection, but we also seek to leave them with a lightness of touch, which allows our collection to lend itself to both country and concrete environments. We work closely with an evolving stable of skilled craftsmen and women in the UK and Europe to produce our designs, holding stock of large and small pieces. Our products are designed to work in both domestic spaces and contract environments, and we take pride in the fact that our clients engage with them individually to create very personal and particular spaces.
