Transforming spaces, one piece at a time.
About Us
Metroretro Ltd is a renowned business that offers an eclectic mix of antique, vintage, and handmade furniture and home accessories for private, trade, and commercial customers. Our collection spans from the 19th century to the 1980s, with a particular focus on MidCentury and Industrial/Institutional styles. We take great pride in our ability to incorporate reclaimed materials into our handmade pieces, ensuring that each item is unique and tailored to our customers' specific needs.
Our journey began in 1994 when our founder, Saxon Durrant, started selling vintage design classics in London's Camden Market. Over the years, we expanded our reach, and by 2001, we had started working with architects, designers, and visual merchandisers, sourcing unique furniture and fittings for bars, restaurants, and retail displays. This experience led us to launch our range of furniture, which combines steel and reclaimed timber, further enhancing our offerings for both private and commercial clients.
Today, we operate from our warehouse in Little Leighs, Essex, where we continue to offer an impressive range of original vintage pieces and bespoke handmade furniture. Our commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction has earned us a reputation as one of the leading suppliers of unique and eclectic furniture and home accessories.
