Our History
AJ Group Derby's Managing Director, Alan Jones, founded the company in 1990 with a strong focus on building relationships with customers. Over the years, we've expanded our services to include decorating, headed up by Mark Hurst, and acquired Maurice Parker, the renowned Derby-based Kitchen, Bathroom & Tiling Company. Today, we're proud to be a leading provider of comprehensive solutions for all your flooring, kitchen, bathroom, and commercial needs.
Our Team
Our team consists of almost 30 professionals, many of whom have been with us for over 10 years. Our floor layers, painters, and decorators are all either qualified to, or working towards, a minimum of NVQ Level II in their respective trades. We're proud to be accredited by SMAS (Safety Management Advisory Services), members of Constructionline and Contract Flooring Association, and all our fully employed tradesmen hold CSCS cards.
