Our purpose-built centre in Southampton offers a relaxed atmosphere where individuals can engage in various activities, including gardening, arts, and crafts.
Our Story
Our journey began with a passion for horticulture and a desire to support individuals in achieving their potential. With over 20 years of experience in horticulture, conservation, and supporting people to learn new skills, our team is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for everyone. Our centre is wheelchair friendly, and we cater to all mobilities, ensuring that everyone can participate and enjoy our activities.
Our Services
At Newfields Gardening C.I.C, we offer a wide range of activities and services, including:
- Gardening: We provide opportunities for individuals to engage in gardening activities, such as seed sowing, harvesting, growing plants, mowing, planting flowers and vegetables, weeding, and selling plants.
- Arts and Crafts: Our arts and crafts group is supervised by Christine, who has lots of ideas for creative activities. You can participate in painting, pottery, and other fun activities.
- Garden Maintenance: Our team, led by Christine, takes care of the garden maintenance, including tending to plants, pruning, and landscaping.
- Leisure Activities: We offer a variety of leisure activities, including walks, Wii games, films, life skills, bird watching, exercise, dance, and music.
