Our History

Founded by Philip Clifford, our practice has a rich history spanning over two decades. With a background in structural engineering, Philip progressed into architectural design, becoming a member of the Architects & Surveyors Institute and eventually establishing Philip Clifford Design Architectural & Engineering Consultants in 1994. Since then, the practice has grown and expanded, with Philip at the helm, guiding a team of talented architects, engineers, technicians, and designers.

We have extensive experience in designing over 3,000 loft conversions and house extensions in and around Bristol and Bath.
