Remedial Works and Garden Transformation
Initial Problems and Challenges
The author, J. Dubwa, had recently purchased a new build home, but the ground workers and former landscapers had done a poor job in preparing the soil and clearing debris from the site, resulting in terrible lawns with shallow roots, water saturation, and dead patches.
PDG's Solution and Quality of Work
PDG, a gardening service, was deployed to undertake remedial works to the front lawn and rear garden. They quickly assessed the problems and set about remedying them. The team removed old turf, dug and rotavated the earth to a depth of at least 300mm, and backfilled it with a soil conditioner and sharp-sand mix to improve the clay earth. A further layer of quality topsoil was added, and the turf was relayed to leave a neat, tidy, and level garden and lawns.
