Our Story

Hummerston Ward was founded in 1988 by two longstanding friends, Paul Hummerston and Glen Ward, who shared a passion for creating unique and bespoke furniture pieces. Initially, the company focused on producing Victorian-influenced bathroom furniture, but due to various circumstances, the business shifted its focus to bespoke bathroom and other furniture for a select few design studios in Surrey. In 1994, the company relocated to Somerset, where it has continued to thrive, with most of its work now commissioned privately, both locally and from Surrey.
