Our journey began when Ian started the company as a sole trader, and over the years, Ian and Cheryl have grown the business into a respected name in arboricultural contracting. Today, we operate nationwide from our base in North East Derbyshire, with a team of professional and well-qualified staff who consistently deliver outstanding workmanship in arboriculture and forestry work.

Commercial Services

We offer a comprehensive range of tree and vegetation management services to our commercial clients in both the public and private sectors. Our team works closely with each client to fully understand their specific needs and requirements, ensuring that we provide a service that thoroughly meets their expectations.

As an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor and TrustMark registered, we manage our company in compliance with ISO9001: 2015, ISO 14001:2015, and BS OHSAS 18001 standards. We are fully insured with cover for Public Liability (10 million), Employers Liability (10 million), and Professional Indemnity (500,000), giving our clients peace of mind when working with us.

Our commercial services include tree pruning, tree removal, tree supply and planting, hedge maintenance, site clearance, and weed control. We ensure that all work is undertaken to BS3998 standards unless otherwise requested by the client, and we provide detailed method statements and risk assessments to ensure a safe operation.

Domestic Services

We understand the importance of our gardens and green spaces for our mental and physical wellbeing. As a company that has operated in the green industry for several decades, we fully appreciate the many benefits that trees provide to our clients. Trueman Tree Services offers a complete and efficient tree and vegetation management service for domestic customers, from maintaining your trees in good health to removing trees that are no longer suitable and planting suitable additional or replacement trees.

We are fully insured with cover for Public Liability (10 million), Employers Liability (10 million), and Professional Indemnity (500,000), and are a TrustMark registered firm. All woody waste material from our tree work is removed from site and returned to our depot for recycling unless the customer wishes to retain it for their own use. The waste is either composted and returned to the land as mulch on amenity planting or is removed to the biomass.
