At Amersham Glass and Window Company, we are a family-run business with a rich local heritage and over 40 years of experience in the industry. We are dedicated to providing top-quality services and products to our customers, ensuring their satisfaction and trust in our expertise.

Our company began as a small glazing business, but we quickly realized the need to expand our services to remain competitive in the ever-changing market. We began offering double glazing services and initially manufactured our own units on our premises. However, as our business grew and our reputation for quality and service spread, we decided to outsource our products to focus more on our customers' needs and ensure that every detail was covered in their quotes and fitting requirements.

Our founder, who originally worked as a sign-writer, decided to change career and entered the glass and glazing industry. Despite starting with little knowledge of the business, he quickly gained expertise and taught us, his children, as we joined the company. We have now passed our knowledge and experience onto our third generation of family members, ensuring that our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction continues.

Our Services

At Amersham Glass and Window Company, we offer a wide range of services and products to cater to our customers' needs. We are FENSA-registered and provide a 10-year, insurance-backed guarantee on windows and doors, where applicable. Our services include:

• Composite Doors: We offer a variety of styles and colors to suit your taste, with a choice of glass panels available. Our composite doors come with a range of chrome, gold, black, or white furniture to complement them.

• UPVC Doors: We provide high-quality, high-security, single or double doors, as well as sliding patio doors. All of our UPVC doors come in various styles to suit your requirements.

• Aluminium Doors: Available in a variety of styles, all of which can be painted to any color from the RAL range.

• Bifold Doors: Our aluminum bifold doors are available with 3 to 7 panels. The doors can be painted to any color from the RAL range.

• Conservatories: We offer a wide range of conservatories in PVCu or aluminum, in Victorian, Edwardian, and lean-to styles. Specialist glass is available for our conservatories, such as Pilkington Active which is self-cleaning, or heat-reflective which keeps sunlight out and your own warmth in. We undertake all building work from start to finish, including laying the base and subsequent brickwork, electrics, and plumbing.

• Windows: We supply PVCu and aluminum windows, all of which are supplied with high-security multi-point locking systems. Our PVCu windows come in a range of styles and colors including white woodgrain effect, oak, and rosewood. Our aluminum windows can be painted to any color from the RAL range.

• Splashback: We can supply any size and shape of splashback, which is 6mm toughened glass with polished edges. A wide selection of colors is available, and we are sure we will have a color to suit your needs.

• Mirrors: We can supply any size and shape of mirror in either 4mm or 6mm thickness, and with polished edges if necessary. Foil backing is also available, and mirrors can either be affixed direct to the surface with mirror adhesive or drilled with holes to enable affixing with screws.

• Balustrades: We can supply and install many types of balustrades for your decking.

• Glass Cut to Size: We can supply many sizes and shapes of glass in a variety of thicknesses and patterns, and with polished edges if required. We also supply glass suitable for picture frames and horticultural glass in standard or bespoke sizes.

• Advice and Repairs: Our staff have a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of double glazing, windows, doors, conservatories, and any problems that may be associated with them. We will happily offer advice on the best way to proceed with a job and offer our professional opinion as to what would work best in any given situation. Please note that repairs not covered by our warranty do incur a call-out fee.
