Our Mission: Gate Safety by Design

Gate Safe is a registered charity dedicated to revolutionizing gate safety in the United Kingdom. Established in 2010, our mission is to dramatically reduce, and ultimately eliminate, accidents and fatalities caused by poorly installed or maintained automated and manual gates and barriers. We are driven by the tragic memory of Semelia Campbell and Karolina Golabek, two young lives tragically lost in separate gate accidents that could have been prevented. Their deaths served as a powerful impetus for the creation of Gate Safe, and remain a constant reminder of our critical purpose.
