Tunbridge Wells Glass Works is a local, family-owned business that has been serving the community since 1949. Our company was established as a glass merchant and general glazing company, and over the years, we have grown in size and expanded our range of services to meet the evolving needs of our customers. Our Story
The business was founded by Colin and Stella Hamilton in the aftermath of World War II, and since then, ownership has moved to the next two generations of the family. Throughout the years, we have endeavored to maintain a friendly, professional service that gives our customers confidence in our work and encourages them to return. Our staff has been with us for years, and they possess the necessary skills to carry out work in a range of fields, from restoration work to up-to-date technology. We take pride in building long-term relationships with our customers, and many of our clients request the same staff members to work on their properties because of the excellent service they have received.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services, including glass and glazing, mirrors, table tops, traditional lead lights, replacement windows and doors, and sealed double-glazed units. We also provide commercial glazing services, UPVC windows, timber alternative windows, aluminum windows, and woodgrain windows. Our team of experts can assist with residential doors, composite doors, aluminum doors, French doors, patio doors, and bi-folding doors. Additionally, we provide services for balustrades and balconies, leaded lights, mirrors, replacement glass, sandblasting, UV bonding and shelves, shower enclosures, splashbacks, and worktops, and Victorian etched glass.
