Our journey began in 1989, after our founder accumulated sixteen years of experience in the timber, furniture, and joinery trade. Initially based at Crown Yard in Wirksworth, within the beautiful Peak District, we later moved to Speedwell Mill thirteen years ago. This move has allowed us to expand our capabilities and upgrade our machinery, including a new Felder Panel Saw, Spindle Moulder, and Extraction System, giving us greater cutting capacity, versatility, and precision.

We take pride in being able to create anything from intricate carvings to entire buildings. We relish the challenge of working on unique projects and are always eager to take on something new. Our workshop is open for visits by appointment, where you can view samples of our work and discuss your requirements with our skilled team.

Building Services

From a porch to a complete building, we can work with your architect or design it with you and our trade colleagues to ensure you get a first-class job. We can create structures beautifully finished in oak seasoned or green, painted red deal (pine), ashlar, random and tooled stone, sustainable hardwoods, and glass, with slate, tiled, lead, green, and glass roofs supported by jointed laminated columns and beams.
