Welcome to hmad|architects, an RIBA Chartered Practice located in Cullompton, Devon with a meeting space in central Exeter. Our firm, which was established in 1997 as Harris McMillan architecture + design, has been serving clients across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, and beyond for over two decades. Our team of experienced architects specialises in the conservation, refurbishment, and renovation of listed buildings, as well as the sustainable design of extensions and new builds.

Our Practice

Our award-winning team includes an RIBA Chartered Architect and a Conservation Accredited Architect (AABC). With over 80 years of combined professional architectural experience, our 3 architects, supported by our Practice Manager, have a wealth of specialist knowledge and experience in the conservation, refurbishment, and renovation of Listed Buildings and the sustainable design of extensions and new builds. We are a RIBA Chartered Practice, which demonstrates our commitment to excellence in design and customer service.
