Anglian Tree Works

At Anglian Tree Works, we are proud to have been offering tree surgery and forestry services throughout Norfolk and beyond since 2001. Starting from our base in Wells Next the Sea, we have expanded our operations to cover various towns including Norwich, Fakenham, Kings Lynn, and Dereham. Our team of fully trained and certified staff works closely with clients ranging from Norfolk County Council and Norfolk Constabulary to private estates and domestic clients. We are approved contractors by Norfolk County Council, having passed a rigorous vetting process that assesses the quality of our work and our adherence to industry standards.

Our Services

We offer a comprehensive range of services, including tree removals, pruning, surveys, and forestry work. For tree removals, we ensure that all necessary checks are carried out before the work begins, such as those for trees covered by a TPO, under the Town and Country Conservation Act, or needing a felling licence. Our pruning services are carried out to the British standard of tree works (BS3998), covering methods like crown reduction, lifting, and thinning. We also provide 24-hour emergency call-outs for any tree-related emergencies.

Tree Surveys and Forestry

For tree surveys, we offer walk-round surveys to identify obvious dangers or defects, as well as more in-depth health surveys. Our forestry services include tree felling using a grapple saw mounted on a Merlo Roto, ideal for roadside works, and stump grinding for removing tree stumps. We have also invested in a 42-meter cherry picker for accessing high-canopy trees safely. Our forestry work encompasses managing woodlands, including thinning and clear fell sites, as well as addressing the impact of Ash dieback.

Tree Preservation Orders and Ash Dieback

We understand the importance of complying with Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) and work closely with Norfolk County Council and local parish councils. Regarding Ash dieback, we have the necessary expertise to manage affected trees and apply for felling licences where necessary. Our goal is to provide cost-effective and safe solutions for all tree-related issues in Norfolk and Suffolk.
