How we work
Our team of qualified engineers conducts onsite CCTV surveys using our unique 360Siteview technology, manages drainage repairs in accordance with WRc standards, and minimises disruption, while controlling costs. We specialise in geotechnical site investigations and soil surveys for residential developments, self-build projects, and subsidence claims. Our team of experts is able to locate leaks and resolve issues quickly and efficiently, returning the pipe to water-tight condition with minimum disruption and cost.
Digital model
Our digital model is now part of our drainage repair and investigation service, providing greater accountability and cost-effectiveness. The process involves:
1. Repair/call instruction: Using our digital technology, once notified of a new potential repair/call, the details are uploaded onto the system.
2. Claim triage: All instructions are assessed through a process of triage by our skilled team of advisers using information provided through our self-service technology, including imagery and video evidence.
3. Appointment agreed: A mutually convenient appointment is agreed with the policyholder/homeowner. The information is recorded via our technology and communications are sent confirming the agreed appointment to all relevant parties.
4. Findings uploaded: Our team, processes, and technology combined deliver a superior service. Accurate diagnosis and engineer-led decisions allow for minimum disruption and a cost-effective service. Once the findings are uploaded, the information is reviewed for reporting purposes.
5. Report to the insurer: CLAIMS ONLY. The site investigation, drainage and/or water mains report are issued directly to the insurer. Once the report has been reviewed, a decision can be made regarding the repair phase.
6. Visit arranged: A mutually convenient appointment is agreed with the customer/policyholder. The information is recorded via our technology and communications are sent confirming the agreed appointment to all relevant parties for repairs to begin.
7. Results uploaded: Our team, processes, and technology combined deliver a superior service. Accurate diagnosis and engineer-led decisions allow for minimum disruption and a cost-effective service. Once the repair plan is confirmed, the information is reviewed for reporting purposes.
8. Claim resolution: All the information is shared with all relevant parties, and the repair/claim is complete. It is at this stage that DRC will issue an invoice and the customer satisfaction questionnaire.
