We are an independent family run timber merchant, owned by two brothers with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the building industry. The company started trading in 2005. We made the decision to start our own business after being made redundant due to the closure of the timber merchant where we had been employed for many years. Prior to this, we completed college, gaining City and Guilds qualifications in Carpentry & Joinery and Bricklaying, whilst working for our established family business of general builders.

At Stoke Ferry Timber, we pride ourselves on being able to offer guidance and advice on your timber needs, from the smallest DIY project, through to large scale trade, industrial builds, with the ability to back this up with a prompt, reliable delivery service throughout East Anglia. Our team of experienced staff are happy to offer their knowledge, covering a range of skills gained from many years experience working in the building trade. Our aim as a company, is to provide you with the ideal product, and the confidence to carry out your project, however large or small.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services including timber supplies and sheet material for DIY and TRADE customers throughout East Anglia. Our timber supplies include Sawn and Planed Timber, Sheet materials, Fencing Panels, Equestrian Fencing & Garden Decking, as well as Concrete Posts & Gravel Boards. We also have an onsite sawmill, capable of cutting timber to your specified lengths and sheet material to size, which can either be ordered in advance, or as a 'while you wait' service. With our own vehicles, we are able to provide you with a friendly, reliable delivery service. A guide to our regular delivery areas includes Brandon & Thetford, Downham Market & Ely, and Swaffham & Kings Lynn, serving all the villages in the surrounding areas. That is not to say we are limited to those areas, we also deliver further afield.
