At 1st Choice High Level Cleaning and Maintenance, we have been proudly serving our clients across the south coast and beyond for over 30 years. With a rich history dating back to 1990, our company has evolved over the years into a commercial cleaning company that prides itself on delivering a professional quality service and a high standard of health and safety. Our story began with Paul Coupland, an ex-Royal Marine, who founded the business after leaving the military. Paul's experience in the Royal Marines proved to be a valuable asset in developing the company from a domestic to a commercial client base, offering a unique approach to achieving what seemed impossible.

Our Journey

Our journey began with humble beginnings as a sole trader carrying out domestic window cleaning. As the company grew, so did the client base, and we eventually made the transition to becoming solely commercial cleaners. In 2004, we made the strategic decision to become a limited company, which marked a new chapter in our evolution. Over the years, we have expanded our range of services to meet the diverse needs of our clients. With time and investment, we have developed the expertise to deliver exceptional results. Our commitment to employee training and specialist equipment has allowed our teams to excel in all aspects of their work.

Our memberships include the Federation of Window Cleaners, British Safety Council, and the Federation of Small Businesses. We are also accredited with CHAS, IPAF, PASMA, and Safety-Approved Installer, demonstrating our commitment to industry standards and best practices.

Giving Back to the Community

As a business, we believe it is essential to give something back to the local community and certain charities that are close to our hearts. Many of our customers feel the same way and participate in our community work. We raise money for the Royal Marines Charity, supporting Marines past and present, and their families through difficult times. We collect scrap metal and/or plastic milk bottle lids from our customers and contribute the exchange value directly to the charity via our Virgin Money Giving account.
