Our Story

Hovingham Interiors has been a leading provider of bespoke, handcrafted kitchens and home interiors for over 40 years. Our history dates back to 1980, when Denis Johnson established the company in an old estate workshop at Hovingham Hall, North Yorkshire. Today, we are proud to operate from modern premises in Malton, North Yorkshire, where our skilled craftsmen continue to uphold the same high standards of quality and attention to detail that have earned us a reputation for excellence.

Bespoke Kitchens

Our expertise extends to the design and creation of bespoke kitchens that are both beautiful and functional. We use only the finest materials, including natural woods such as oak, maple, walnut, cherry, ash, beech, and pine, as well as offering paint finishes. Our skilled craftsmen can also assist with the selection of top-quality appliances and worktops, including granite, Corian, and wood. Whether you're looking to create a sleek, modern kitchen or a traditional, country-style kitchen, we have the expertise and imagination to bring your vision to life.

Bathrooms and Bedrooms

In addition to kitchen design and creation, we also offer bespoke bathroom and bedroom interiors. Our expertise extends to the design and construction of bespoke bathroom and bedroom furniture, including fitted wardrobes, bedside tables, dressing tables, and bathroom cabinets. We understand the importance of creating a seamless transition between living and sleeping spaces, and we take the time to understand your needs and preferences to create bespoke designs that meet your specific requirements.

Showroom and Gallery

Visitors to our showroom in Malton can see for themselves the exceptional quality and craftsmanship that has made us a leading provider of bespoke home interiors. Our spacious showroom features 18 kitchen displays, as well as a selection of bathroom and bedroom interiors. Our knowledgeable staff are on hand to offer design advice and answer any questions you may have. We are open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. We are also happy to accommodate appointments outside of our regular hours.
