Three Bells Furniture, established in 1985, is a renowned furniture maker and restorer located in Ditchingham, on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk. Our business has been providing a bespoke, personal service for nearly 40 years, designing and restoring beautiful hand-crafted furniture. We are proud to offer a range of services, including the creation of new furniture, restoration of antique pieces, and the replication of existing furniture.

Our Services

At Three Bells Furniture, we specialise in creating high-quality, hand-crafted furniture. Each piece is designed and made to our clients' specific requirements, ensuring that they receive a truly unique and personal piece of furniture. Our furniture is made using traditional methods and the finest materials, resulting in pieces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also durable and long-lasting.

In addition to creating new furniture, we also offer a restoration service for those pieces that require careful attention to bring them back to their former glory. We can repair and refinish all manner of furniture, from loose chair joints and damaged veneer to worn-out table tops and missing castors. We take great care in restoring each piece, ensuring that it retains its original character while also functioning as it should.

We also offer a replication service, where we can create an exact copy of an existing piece of furniture. This is perfect for those who have a piece of furniture that they love but is in need of replacement, or for those who want to create a matching set. We can replicate furniture in any style, from traditional to contemporary, and can match the finish and colouring to ensure that the new piece blends seamlessly with the existing furniture.

Our Design Process

Our design process is tailored to each client's individual needs and preferences. We start by discussing the client's requirements, including the size, style, and finish of the piece. We then create a rough sketch to establish the outline requirements, which is used to create a scale drawing for initial review by the client. This drawing can be modified as needed until the client is completely satisfied with the design. Once the plans have been confirmed, we begin creating the piece, using only the finest materials and traditional methods.

All new furniture created in our workshop is branded with the Three Bells logo, assuring quality and craftsmanship. We are proud of each piece of furniture that leaves our workshop, and we are confident that our clients will be delighted with their new furniture.

Our Workshop and Showroom

Our workshop and showroom are located in Ditchingham, on the Norfolk-Suffolk border. We invite clients to visit our showroom to discuss their designs, specific requirements, and budget. They can also observe work in progress, appreciating the care and attention that goes into each piece. Our showroom displays examples of the work already created, providing clients with inspiration and ideas for their own pieces.

Our Locations

Three Bells Furniture is a cabinet making service covering East Anglia. We have worked with clients throughout the region, including Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Ipswich, Cambridge, London, Southwold, Kings Lynn, and Diss. We are happy to discuss projects with clients located further afield, and can arrange delivery of finished pieces to any location.
