COH Surveyors is an independent firm of chartered building surveyors with over 20 years of experience. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to deliver high-quality services to clients in Sussex, London, and the South East of England. Our network of consultants includes engineers, quantity surveyors, asbestos surveyors, fire safety advisors, and interior designers. Our Surveyors

Our surveyors have a diverse range of skills and experience, but they all share the same company ethos. Patrick Crowther, our Managing Director, is a chartered building surveyor who qualified in 1995. With years of experience in dilapidations, party walls, and building surveys, he also serves as a trained assessor for the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC). Patrick is an active member of the Sussex branch of the Pyramus and Thisbe Society, which promotes excellence in party wall practice.

Robert Harris, our Director, is a chartered building surveyor who qualified in 1989. His experience spans properties including commercial, industrial, rural, and residential, including listed and historic buildings. Robert has extensive experience as a contract administrator under JCT forms of building contract and is a former assessor for the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC). He is a member of the Pyramus and Thisbe Society for party wall surveyors and has negotiated party wall awards for commercial and residential property owners in London and the South East.

Andrew Coleman, our Associate, is a chartered building surveyor with experience in all types of surveying work. Prior to joining us, he worked for a national surveying firm covering projects throughout the South East of England, predominantly for estate and portfolio clients. Andrew lives on the South Downs and enjoys walking and cycling around his home.

Cathy Haines, our Senior Building Surveyor, qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 2013. She is a Member of the Association of Project Safety and is also a graduate of the RICS/SPAB Conservation Summer School. Cathy is experienced in all aspects of building surveying work and is COH's main advisor on the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

James Linazasoro, our Building Surveyor, is a part-qualified Building Surveyor who joined us in 2021. He spent his year out in industry working with a building surveying company in Kent. In his spare time, James enjoys watching and participating in sports activities, particularly cricket. He is also currently undertaking the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Jonathan Brooking, our Building Surveyor (part-qualified), graduated from the University of West London in 2021 with a degree in building surveying. He commenced his training towards becoming a chartered building surveyor in the London office of a national consultancy, before joining our team in 2023. Away from work, Jono is a keen rifle shot, having competed at international standard, and also has an interest in cookery.
