Meet the Directors

Skyfell Tree Specialists was co-founded by two good friends, Philip Smith and Christopher Spratt, who share a passion for the care and maintenance of trees. With their combined wealth of knowledge, experience, and attention to detail, they are dedicated to raising the standard in tree surgery operations.

Philip Smith, a certified arborist, has developed a real passion for tree climbing and the health and welfare of trees. He has gained a wide range of industry experience, including working for two large tree companies in London where he developed his arboricultural skills and abilities, becoming a team leader.

Christopher Spratt, also a certified arborist, has a solid foundation of experience in the industry. He started his career in the horticultural industry in 2004 and soon realised that his main passion rested in the care and maintenance of trees. He has progressed to work in aerial tree operations, having been employed as a team leader for a professional tree surgery company, which has allowed him to gain the necessary experience and develop his climbing skills further.
