KALM Design Chartered Architect is a design-focused architecture firm founded in 2014, located in the Scottish Highlands 12 miles from the city of Inverness. Our services are available throughout the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Inverness, and Moray, including all services from measured surveys and initial designs, right through to contract administration during construction.

We work closely with each client, aiming to provide creative, cost-effective solutions for a wide range of projects, from small extensions to large new-builds, in residential, commercial and industrial sectors. No matter if you require full architectural services for a thoughtfully designed home, or simply need assistance in obtaining Planning Permission or a Building Warrant, we are able to help you achieve the best possible outcome.

Our Projects

We have been fortunate enough to work on a variety of exciting projects, including the design of a log construction home located in the Scottish Highlands, a metal and timber cladding single-storey living room extension to a family home, and a timber cladding New England style house with a front porch and built-in garage.
