Our Story
Our journey began in the 1950s and 1960s when Greenshutters Nurseries grew cut flowers for a shop in Taunton. Over the years, we evolved into a well-run retail nursery, growing and selling garden plants. After a brief period of decline, I, Roger Eavis, purchased the nursery in 1998 and have since built it up steadily, expanding our growing area every year.

Today, we are a thriving garden centre, open seven days a week, with a vast selection of plants, including trees, shrubs, herbaceous perennials, specimen conifers, magnolias, rhododendrons, azaleas, hydrangeas, and Japanese maples. We also stock a wide range of gardening products, including tools, seeds, bulbs, pots, and containers. Our knowledgeable staff are always happy to offer advice and assistance, ensuring you find the perfect plants and products for your garden.
