For domestic customers, we can install central heating systems, including underfloor heating, air source and ground source heat pumps, and biomass boilers. For industrial and commercial clients, we offer complete installation services, including preparation and completion of risk assessments and method statements, site set up, and ordering of all parts and materials prior to installation. Our experienced engineers are also available for emergency call outs to ensure your business operates smoothly.
System Design
If you require an experienced plumber or central heating engineer to design the heating systems for a building you are constructing, we can help. We specialise in designing systems that ensure the building concerned is appropriately heated. We work out how much heat the building will require and use this to determine the most appropriate system, including the size of any pumps, the requisite hot and cold water supplies, and ventilation systems.

The company was founded by Gerald Thomas, a central heating engineer with over 25 years' experience. Gerald launched his own business in 1985 to give his son, Andrew, an apprenticeship, and thus, GGT Thomas and Son was born.
